There's a new sheriff in town
As I was sitting down watching "Around The horn" today the most amazing thing happened, not just one but four columnists said positive things about the U. Apparently Coach Shannon has laid down the law and in just a few months put the fear of God into the team. The players are actually scared of him (in a good way of course) and I love it. To begin with if any player is caught with a gun they are gone (not just from the team but from the school.) In addition coach Shannon has informed the players that if their grades fall they ride the pine. Next Coach Shannon has moved the offensive and defensive players into the same area of the locker room in order to build chemistry. Also he has made it clear that NOBODY's position is safe.This guy is a beast and he takes no shit!!! He has a plan to get this team back to the top of the mountain and if you're not with him than he'll cut your ass. As far as the QB controversy goes Coach Shannon has forbidden the players from talking about it and they know he means buisness. Sports writers across the country are praising Coach Shannon and for good reason, he's been around the block and knows all the tricks of the trade, these players can't fool him, trick him or make him look stupid because he been there and done that. I'm very optimistic as we go under the six month mark before the season and I can't wait to see what Coach can do on the sidelines during a game. In closing, buck up cane fans football season is only 177 days away and we have alot to look forward to....GO CANES!!!!!
